This review will tell you more about ICM 1/35 Typ 320 Cabriolet B (35543). Kit comes as yet another version of the famous German passenger car in popular scale. I reviewed previous versions, so it is interesting to see what is included here and what is different. Whole kit proved to be a nice copy of Mercedes cabrio, and now we get an open version. Moreover, it is molded in popular military scale and can be used for some kind of diorama. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, so all parts come in one plastic bag. In total there are 150 parts which should assemble into a model with 141mm length. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with Soft Top version which I mentioned in the video.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.
First frame comes with chassis bars, engine and wheel rims. Chassis should be assembled out of separate tabs, but it is not a difficult task.
Engine won't be visible on the finished model as the bonnet molded shut. Nevertheless, it looks great out of the box as you can see on the photo above.
New roof is molded on the separate sprue and should be assembled out of several sections. Overall quality looks great, but it might be tricky to get a smooth connection between those parts.
Floor panel is molded on the next frame together with side parts and interior sections. Bonnet and trunk are molded in closed position as you can notice.
The same can be said about both doors. This is not an issue with today's kit as we are dealing with cabrio and whole interior will be visible.
Clear frame is packed into a separate plastic bag. Overall molding quality is great, but there are no masks included, and you will have to work around that.
Vinyl tires are nothing to write home about. In my opinion this build will benefit from good resin wheels installed.
There is no mention on where decals are coming from, but overall quality is as good as usual. All marking options can be seen on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.
As I said in the video-review, I assembled closed version of this car, and build-report will be online quite soon. You can see one of the photos here. :)
Overall I like this car set from ICM, and it might be a great opportunity to build some civil diorama. You can expect plenty of various features out of the box, and final result should look quite good. Nevertheless, even design of the parts is nicely done and it is possible to paint them separately and then assemble together. My experience with this plastic was quite positive, so definitely recommended to try to all modelers. :)
