Here you will read more about IBG Models 1/35 Italian Autocannone 3Ro with 90/53 Gun with Crew (35066). This release comes as yet another version of the combo-kits from the well-known brand. As you can notice on the boxart, one box will bring you several figurines and truck with gun in the rear. All this sounds like a perfect setup for diorama project in popular scale. Overall packaging is typical for the brand, so all frames come in separate bags. Let's open everything and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another version in the same scale.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
First two frames are dedicated to bonnet parts, suspension elements and some of the wheel sections. Yes, sidewall of the tire is molded together with rim.
Overall we should get quite detailed suspension here, but I wonder if it would be visible on the finished model. The same applies to the engine which is also supplied out of the box.
Note that wheel fenders are molded separately and we also get separate bonnet panels. Large chassis bars look good and should be easy to work with.
Rear section will get a lot of armor panels, so be sure to align them properly. It is also a good idea to play a bit with weathering here.
As you can guess, front cab will be also built out of several panels. Here we get a bit more molded in features, just like on the real truck.
Yes, main barrel should be assembled out of two halves. This is quite strange, after seeing other two-piece assemblies, so be sure to carefully join them together.
There are a lot of small parts as well, but it is nice to get various equipment for the crew. Attachment points are thin, so it should be easy to separate the parts.
All figurines are supplied on several frames. Overall design is typical for this scale, and sculpting looks decent out of the box.
As it was mentioned already, plastic tires will have to be combined with rims. Overall look of these is definitely better than vinyl, but there is no weight effect.
Both clear frame look good and carry all necessary parts for the front cab. There are no masks included, so you will have to cut them by yourself.
PE fret is also here, and you will get even more fine parts to install on your truck. In this scale such thing is definitely worth the extra time spent.
Decals are coming from Techmod, so printing quality looks great. There are also some decals for the interior.
On the side of the box you can see pictures of the finished build with this kit. Assembly manuals are typical for IBG Models and I show all pages in the video-review.
Today's combo-set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for those who would like to build diorama in popular scale. Overall quality looks great, but there are also several assembly options included. Just add some diorama base and you will get an interesting looking build. I wouldn't recommend such truck to beginners, but experienced modelers will definitely make it look like real. :)
