In this review I will tell you more about Valiant Wings Ju 88 Part 2 Airframe and Miniature (24). New book comes as the second part of series which is dedicated to the famous German twin engine aircraft. First part was covering earlier versions, so here we get focus on the later types. Overall format is still the same - softcover book with 256 pages inside. Let's open it and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with the first part of this series.

Watch this video-review where I show even more pages in the book.
As usual, we start with contents page where you will see that whole book is divided into Airframe and Miniature chapters. There are also appendices which might be helpful for your project.
Book starts with development history. Here you will find plenty of text to read as well as black-and-white photos.
Next chapter is dedicated to listing the versions of Ju 88, again together with profiles and photos. It is worth noting that there are more than 200 photos in this book.
As usual, I like camouflages chapter, as it will give you a chance to pick some different marking for your Junkers. Yes, those are not full marking guides, but it is not difficult to understand how to copy this or that camo.
Miniature chapters begin with several builds in different scales. Overall quality of those projects is quite impressive, so you will definitely find something interesting to copy.
Another chapter about different versions comes as a bit more visual part because it shows the differences with help of dark grey color.
Walkaround chapter is very detailed as usual. In my opinion this is quite precious information and it should be useful for any scale you would pick for your model build.
The last bonus comes in form of 1/48 scale drawings which can be handy for rescribing or adding panel lines. Whole book should be already available for purchase. Price will be set at 28.95GBP, what is a standard level for these books. In my opinion it is more than reasonable for what you get here, and it should be interesting to read even if you are not planning to build your own Junkers. Keep in mind that for the full effect it is better to get the first part as well. :)
