In this review I will tell you more about IBG Models 1/72 M11/39 Italian Medium Tank (72122). New kit comes as yet another small scale offering from the famous brand. As you can guess from the name, this time we get a chance to copy Italian tank, and it might be an interesting change from all those popular subjects in our hobby. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, so all frames are separated into several bags. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another tank kit in the same scale.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.
Lower hull section is molded on the same frame with the superstructure. Both are one-piece what should make assembly faster and easier.
Next we see turret and rear section of the hull. Both are also single-piece, but be careful with attachment points here.
Top hull section is also molded as single part. Two front hatches are molded in place. Note also armor wall on the separate frame here.
Drivetrain should be relatively quick to assemble thanks to nice design. As you can notice, the bogies are molded with wheels from one side.
Another side can be found on the track sections. I like this design from IBG as it helps you avoid dealing with small track sections and their assembly.
Unpainted PE fret will be useful for some external features, but it is more of a work for tweezers. Decals are coming from Techmod, so don't worry about any quality issues. All marking options can be seen on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. You can check all pages in the video-review.
New small tank should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is yet another nice addition to lineup of Italian armor from IBG. One box will bring you all necessary elements, you just have to get them together. I like how parts design aims to speed up assembly process and that will be handy with such a tiny kit. Nevertheless, you should be ready to deal with PE installation here. :)
