Miniart 1/72 Sturmgeschutz III Ausf.G April 1943 (72106)

This time we are going to check Miniart 1/72 Sturmgeschutz III Ausf.G April 1943 (72106). New version continues line of the small scale vehicles from the famous brand. I assembled one of those and you can find build review on the website. All I can say that new plastic was quite nice to work with, so it is interesting to check what is supplied in the new boxing. Packaging is typical for this brand, and all frames are packed into the same bag.

First frame is dedicated to mix of parts. Here you will find some of the hull panels as well as jerry cans and towing cable loops.

Superstructure should be assembled out of separate panels. Note that hatch is molded as single parts and can be opened. Gun muzzle brakes can be seen in the right upper corner.

Drivetrain parts look great, but will require some time for install. Overall quality is nice and there are many premolded features.

One more frame is dedicated to engine bay cover. Keep in mind that this kit doesn't have any interior included.

Lower hull section is also separated into panels. Suspension arms are premolded, what should help with alignment.

Clear frame is packed into a separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks or templates for this element.

Unpainted PE fret comes in the separate envelope. Yes, those large panels are for schurzen and should be used for today's version.

Decals are printed in Cartograf, so quality looks great. You can see all marking options on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New release should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for all fans of armor models in small scale. Moreover, out of the box you will get a lot of useful things which can help you with final result. Keep in mind that this kit is more for experienced modelers who know what to do. Beginners might have tough time with PE parts as well as suspension on this vehicle.
