IBG Models 1/35 7TP Polish Tank (35070)

This article will tell you more about IBG Models 1/72 7TP Polish Tank (35070). As you can guess from the title, large box brings us a model of the tank in popular scale. Moreover, manufacturer promises a lot of features out of the box, so it will be interesting to see what exactly is included here. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, so all parts are packed into several plastic bags. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
Here is also a short info about the real tank:
Origins: Based on the British Vickers Mk.E tank, the 7TP was a domestically produced solution to bolster Polish defenses.
Production: Manufactured from 1935 to 1938, around 150 units were built.
Armament: The tank sported a 37 mm main gun and one or two machine guns.
Role: The 7TP served as the primary Polish tank during the German invasion of Poland in 1939.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.

We are going to start with one of the biggest frames in the kit. Here you will find panels for the lower hull section.

External features include raised rivets and nice panel lines. Attachment points are quite thin and should be easy to separate.

Next we see some panels for the top section as well as some interior parts. Yes, this kit features nicely detailed interior, so it might be worth thinking on how to expose it on the finished model.

Engine bay cover should be assembled separately, but look at those vent panels. They look perfect out of the box, and this is quite impressive molding quality.

As whole kit features interior, engine is also included. Overall details look great, you can just add a bit of wiring here and there.

Engine bay will also feature a lot of thin parts, so be careful while separating those.

Whole drivetrain should be assembled out of separate parts, so the process will take some time. Nevertheless, external features look great and deserve a nice paintwork done.

Tracks look good too and at least we get one-piece lengths for ease of building.

Ammo bay will be fully packed with all those rounds. Of course, you don't have to use all of them and can keep some for the future build.

Turret side panels are molded as one-piece with connection in the front. Such design looks interesting and maybe can be helpful with alignment.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great as usual, but there are no masks included.

It is interesting that with all those features IBG Models decided to include unpainted PE fret as well. Here you will find mix of parts which will come handy for fine things on your model.

Decals sheet is printed in Techmod, and printing quality looks great out of the box. You can see one and only marking on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

Today's release should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is quite nice to get all important features with the standard package. Moreover, inclusion of PE will allow you copy most of the things. You only have to think on how to expose all those beautiful details inside the model. There are separate hatches which can be assembled in open position, but maybe you will have other ideas as well. :)
