IBG Models 1/72 DAC "Sawn-Off" (72146)

This time we are going to talk about IBG Models 1/72 DAC "Sawn-Off" (72146). New set comes as yet another version of British armoured car in small scale. As you might remember, we reviewed initial type, and you will find link below. Now the new offering comes without the turret, hence the name of this edition. Packaging is typical for this brand, and all frames are separated into several plastic bags. Let's open everything and see what is different from the previous version.
By the way, here you can read review with the version which has turret.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.

First two frames are the biggest in this set. Here you will find hull panels as well as some interior parts. Note that side doors are molded in.

As I said in the previous review, it is nice to get plastic wheels in this scale. Details on those look impressive for their size. Engine bay hatches are premolded.

All boxes should be assembled out of separate panels. In my opinion they might be good to experiment with weathering.

Yes, there is another sprue with plastic wheels. You will have a choice between two options to install on your build.

Unpainted PE fret will come handy for both external and internal features. Just be sure to have the right tools for those tiny parts. Decals are printed in Techmod, so quality looks great. On the photo below you can see all marking options.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New release should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is as good as initial version with the turret. Here it is even better to have interior included as it will be visible through the top opening. Overall quality is top notch, and the only thing I hope to see is the figures set to sit inside. They are depicted on the boxart after all :D
