Miniart 1/48 P-47D-30RE Basic Kit (48023)

This article will tell you more about Miniart 1/48 P-47D-30RE Basic Kit (48023). As you might guess, we get another version of the famous American fighter aircraft. It is molded in popular scale and offers a great chance to have your own model with a lot of features out of the box. We reviewed previous releases, but it will be interesting to see what the new one has to offer. Note that Basic Kit means there are no additional parts and PE. Packaging is typical for this brand, so all frames are sealed into one bag. Let's open them and take a closer look together.

First frame is dedicated to wing parts and cowling panels. External features look great for this scale, and wing mechanization is molded separately.

All external equipment is supplied on two sets of the sprues above. Those items look great and might be handy for your future projects too.

I like that Miniart didn't skip on engine features here, and we get nice powerplant even without PE. Just be sure to nicely paint and weather it. :)

The same can be said about cockpit parts. Of course, you can buy some aftermarket PE, but even stock plastic offers a lot of things.

Tail surfaces can be found on the next sprue. Note that pilot seat features premolded seatbelts.

Both fuselage halves come on the separate frames. Molding quality looks great, and there are guiding elements inside.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality is also nice, but there are no masks in the box.

Both decals sheets are coming from Cartograf. Printing quality looks great, but you will have to decide on which marking you want to copy. Note that there are some cockpit decals too. Both markings can be seen on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New aircraft kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion Miniart has managed to give us a nice aircraft kit in popular scale. As it was mentioned already, even standard package offers a lot of things at once, so you will definitely enjoy the build process. I am also sure that soon there will be plenty of aftermarket for this kit as even masks are must-have here in my opinion. :)
