Miniart 1/24 D8511 Mod.1936 (24005)

This review article will tell you more about Miniart 1/24 D8511 Mod.1936 (24005). New release comes as yet another version of the German tractor. As you might notice, it is still molded in popular car scale, so it will be interesting to see what is new here. We reviewed previous versions as well, but here the main difference comes in wheels type. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, so all frames are packed into the same plastic bag. Let's open them and take a closer look together.

First frame is the biggest one in the kit. Here you will find chassis parts as well as some suspension bits. Note that main section of the tractor should be glued out of several halves.

Next we see wheels. They are supplied on two frames. Big ones will have to be glued out of three parts, while front smaller wheels are assembled out of two parts.

On this frame you can see suspension parts as well as large floor panel. Parts are not movable out of the box, but with some time you might figure out how to make them at least turn.

Rear fenders are molded together with supports, just like on the previous versions. Note also driver's seat which has perforations out of the box.

From the clear frame we will need bulbs and lenses for the headlamps. Both look great, but there are no masks included in the kit.

Decals sheet comes from Cartograf, so you don't have to worry about the quality issues. Here you will find all necessary symbols for three markings. You can see them all on the photo below.

This version of the kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is an interesting choice for modelers who prefer bigger models. Moreover, you might have noticed that there is no PE, so that might be another advantage for some. Out of the box you get a really nice plastic kit, which should be easy to assemble. The only thing required from you is to decide on marking option and maybe to replicate some weathering here and there.
