ICM 1/72 ATZ-5-43203 (72710)

This article is dedicated to ICM 1/72 ATZ-5-43203 (72710). Kit comes as yet another version of the famous truck. Packaging is typical, all sprues are packed into one plastic bag. There are 112 parts which should assemble into a model with 104mm length.

We are going to start with wheels which are molded out of plastic here. They don't have a lot of features, but definitely better than a rubber alternative. Another option might be to find resin replacement.

Front cab is molded as single-piece element. As you can see, doors and bonnet are molded in and you won't be able to open them.

Black sprue can be considered as "classic" for all small scale ZiL sets from ICM. Here you will find suspension, interior and some other parts.

Rear section should be glued out of separate panels. There are guiding elements to help, but still I recommend to check the alignment of those parts.

I like that bottom panel also features some chassis details. Those might be barely visible on the finished truck, but still important for a better appearance.

Clear frame looks fine, but there are no masks in this kit.

Decals sheet might look familiar if you watched previous reviews of small scale trucks. Printing quality looks great and you can see both markings on the photo below.

Assebmyl manual is typical for this brand, and I show all pages in the video-review.

New truck kit should be already available together with previous versions. In my opinion such small scale releases might be handy for some diorama ideas. Moreover, quality of the kit looks nice and should be easy to get together into a good build. There is also an opportunity for additional detailing if you are eager to do some scratchbuilding. Such kit can be also recommended to beginners, as there are no tricky moments except of masks for clear parts.
