ICM 1/35 Krankenpanzerwagen (35113)

This review is dedicated to ICM 1/35 Krankenpanzerwagen (35113). As the boxart and the name suggest, you will get German ambulance in popular scale. Moreover, we reviewed Sd.Kfz.251 in previous versions, so it is interesting to check what is offered here. Packaging is typical for this brand. There are 290 parts in total, which should assemble into a model with 169mm length. Let's open everything and check together.

First frame is dedicated to hull parts. Note that bonnet hatches are molded separately and can be opened on the finished model.

Special parts for the medical version can be found on the next frame. Overall quality looks great, so it is just a matter of assembling them and painting properly.

Pioneer tools are molded together with clamps. There are a lot of thin parts, so be careful with them.

This frame comes in two pieces. Each roadwheel is molded together with rubber section, so be ready to use some circular templates.

Lower section is glued out of separate panels. Note that suspension arms are fixed, but such design should be easier to work with.

Clear film is packed into separate plastic bag in order to avoid scratches. You will need only lenses for headlamps from here. :)

Yes, there are vinyl tracks and tires, so be ready to work with those parts.

Decals sheet is printed in nice quality. You will find some interior decals here as well. Both markings are shown on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is an interesting choice for some diorama build. Just add some figures and base, so that final result would look even more realistic. Out of the box you will get a lot of features, which are great for this scale. Yes, there are vinyl tires, but maybe there is some aftermarket available which will help you with replacement. Scalemates show at least several options available, so it is more of a question how much you would like to spend on the model.
