ICM 1/35 Gulaschkanone (35415)

Today we are going to take a look at ICM 1/35 Gulaschkanone (35415). Well, even the name hints that we will get something unusual in the box. I recommend to take a look at the boxart in order to see what exactly is hidden under this name. Yes, there will be a truck with mobile kitchen in the back! :) All this will be molded in 1/35 scale and might be handy for some diorama ideas. In total there are 178 parts for truck and 34+54 parts for the mobile kitchen. Packaging is typical for this brand, so let's open all frames and check them together.

First frame is dedicated to mix of parts. You will find some of the engine and suspension elements as well as frame bars on both ends.

Field kitchen parts come on the separate sprue. Overall design is good and should be easy to work with. Note also separate top hatch. Vinyl tires are for the truck, and might be okay for standard build.

Rear bed should be glued out of separate panels. Note the surface details, those definitely deserve some nice paintwork and weathering.

Front cab is quite angular here, so you will be working with separate panels. Doors are molded separately, and this feature might be useful for some diorama ideas.

Various boxes and sacks will be placed near the kitchen. Those items will definitely come handy for a bit more convincing appearance.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks or masking templates in the kit.

There is no mention on where decals were printed, but overall quality looks as good as usual. There are also some interior decals included. You can see all markings on the photo below.

Kit also features small add for paints from the same brand.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion this is a good base for some diorama project in popular scale. It would be cool to get some figurines in the package, but I guess the main aim was to keep the price in reasonable level. Overall quality looks great, and you just need to come up with some idea for diorama base and maybe at least a driver figurine.
