Special Armour 1/72 Scheuch Schlepper (SA72017)

This time we are going to talk about Special Armour 1/72 Scheuch Schlepper (SA72017). Small kit from Czech brand comes as possible add-on for Comet aircraft in the same scale. You might remember that we checked the aircraft model and it didn't feature any tractor in the box. Well, now it is a perfect chance to get it as separate set and combine together. Packaging is typical for this brand, so everything comes in one bag. Let's open all those parts and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with Komet kit from the same brand.

I would call this multimedia kit because we get three different types of parts. On the photo above you can see resin parts which copy some of the fine elements of the vehicle. Yes, whole front section is casted as single-piece part.

PE fret will come handy for even smaller features on your model. Those parts are quite tiny due to scale, so be ready to work with tweezers here.

There are also plastic parts included. All of them fit on one frame and molding quality looks good. Large cylinders don't have guiding elements inside, so you will have to be careful while combining them together.

Marking guide is quite simple and printed on the rear side of the box. Assembly manual is typical for this brand, I show all pages in the video-review.

New set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a decent choice for modelers who would like to add more to their aircraft build. Whole assembly shouldn't be difficult if you have some previous experience of working with resin and PE. Keep in mind small size of those parts - for some modelers it might make assembly a bit more tricky.

Pros

  • Nice product quality
  • PE and resin included
  • Good addition for aircraft diorama

Cons

  • Might be tricky for some modelers
