ICM 1/35 Helicopter Pilots (53101)

This review will tell you more about ICM 1/35 Helicopter Pilots (53101). As you can guess from the name, small box brings us four figures. Those guys will be exactly in the same positions as depicted on the boxart. Note that the same picture also hints on use with recent CH-54A from the same brand. Packaging is typical for ICM, everything comes in one bag. There are 41 parts for assembly of 4 figurines. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another pilots set from the same brand.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.

We are going to start with the smallest sprues, which are identical copies of each other. Here you will find helmet parts. Yes, each of those should be glued out of two halves.

Next frame is bigger as it carries figures parts. Overall design and parts division are typical for this scale. There are no guiding elements, so you will have to carefully join everything together. Assembly manual is typical for ICM. Here we get it printed on one page, and marking guide is combined with assembly manual.

New release should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a good add-on for some diorama ideas in 1/35 scale. There were messages asking me whether we will get pilots in the new scale, well, here is the first release. I think we will see more in upcoming time, but today's set is also great for showing the actual size of your helicopter model. It is especially recommended if you plan to build CH-54 from ICM. :)
Get this and other kits on Modelimex webshop.
