This time I would like to talk more about Valiant Wings Lancaster Part 2 Airframe and Miniature (21). AS you can guess from the name, book continues series about big British aircraft. Nevertheless, today we get whole publication dedicated to Post-War Service. New book is quite hefty, but still comes as softcover with color print inside. This format should be familiar if you have some books from Valiant Wings. Let's open the new title and check some pages inside.

First of all we are going to take a look at contents page. Here you can notice that whole book is divided into two large sections - Airframe and Miniature Chapters.

Everything starts with development history. Here you will find plenty of black-and-white photos with the aircraft. In total there should be more than 200 photos in the book.

Next chapter will tell us more about various versions of the aircraft. Note that side profiles are combined with photos here.

Another chapter brings a bit of color as it is dedicated to marking options. Each profile looks great and might come handy if you are searching for alternative option.

Differences between various aircraft versions can be also tracked in the separate chapter. Here authors decided to show the main changes with dark grey so that it will be easier to understand.

It is hard to miss the importance of "In Detail" section as it brings a lot of useful information. Here you will find drawings and photos of the actual aircraft parts. Another nice bonus is the set of drawings which can be useful for rescribing for example.

New title should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a must have for every aviation modeler who plans to build Lancaster. Price tag should be set at 28.95GBP and this is quite reasonable number for such book. It doesn't matter which scale you will pick for your model, as it still will benefit from the information in the new publication. All in all those 272 pages can be deemed as very valuable because they bring a lot of data in one source. Such thing should make it easier to find this or that information for your model. :)
