ICM 1/35 Typ 320 Cabriolet (35540)

This review will tell you more about ICM 1/35 Typ 320 Cabriolet (35540). Car model comes as yet another version of the famous Mercedes. It is molded in popular scale, so you can easily combine it with some figures and accessories for a diorama project. Moreover, previous releases looked good, so this one should be fine too. Packaging is typical, all frames come in one plastic bag. There are 150 parts which should assemble into a model with 141mm length. Let's open everything and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with previous version of this car.

First bonnet might be familiar to some of you. Here ICM placed chassis bars and some of the engine elements.

Those parts are exclusive for today's version. They should help you copy folded roof on your model. It would be important to carefully join everything and get a smooth connection between separate panels.

Here we see another new sprue. It is easy to notice that trunk, bonnet and doors are molded shut, and you won't be able to position them open.

Nevertheless, it is a cabriolet car, so whole interior will be visible on the assembled model. On the photo above you can also take a closer look at the front grill.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks included in the box.

Yes, kit features vinyl tires. Those should be ok for standard build, but if you can get aftermarket - definitely go for it.

Decals sheet is not that big, but you will find all necessary symbols. Kit offers several marking options which should look good on the model.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

Car model in 1/35 scale sounds like a very attractive thing to work on. Moreover, it can be part of some diorama build as well as solo project. Overall quality looks great out of the box and should be easy to assemble. Molded in doors are not that big problem, while closed bonnet might be a thing to work on, as it would be a shame to hide whole engine inside. Moreover, interior still stays visible, and you can spend some time in order to add more features here and there.
