Miniart 1/35 European Farm Cart (35642)

Today we are going to talk about Miniart 1/35 European Farm Cart (35642). Kit might sound like a simple thing, but somehow we didn't have this as plastic model. Moreover, 1/35 scale makes it useful for some diorama ideas. For me the main question here is how detailed this kit out of the box. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, and you get all frames sealed into one plastic bag. Let's open them and take a closer look together.

On the first sprue you will find subframes and some of the outer panels. Molding quality looks ok, even though there are small amounts of flash in some spots.

More panels can be found on this type of frame which comes in two. Note that there is wooden texture, which might come handy for weathering ideas. Wheels are designed as one-piece elements, so you will have to carefully copy metal bandages.

Kit also offers two types of the frontal axle. Whole assembly manual is printed on the rear side of the box.

As I said in the beginning, new kit might sound simple, but you actually get nicely detailed model. Moreover, it can be even solo project, just add some diorama base and you will be good to go. Another option is to use it in some bigger build where it can serve as part of the setting. The only thing required here is some skills in copying weathered wood, because this is definitely not an easy task.
