Special Hobby 1/32 Fiat G.50B Bicomando (SH32083)

Today we are going to talk about Special Hobby 1/32 Fiat G.50B Bicomando (SH32083). Name of this aircraft tells everything - we get two-seater in large scale. Even the single-seater version is quite rare around, and now we get a chance to copy more special thing. Packaging is typical for this manufacturer, so you will find all parts in one plastic bag. Let's open them and check everything together.
By the way, here you can read review with another Italian aircraft in the same scale.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.

We are going to start with wing parts. Here you have standard three-part composition, but note that mechanization is molded in.

Each wheel should be glued out of two halves, so I would recommend to get aftermarket resin. Propeller blades are also separate and should be carefully adjusted.

Tailwing and elevators should be glued out of two halves. The same can be said about rudder.

Cockpit parts look fine out of the box. Keep in mind that more features will be added with help of PE parts.

Both fuselage halves are molded together with tail fin. Cowling should be glued out of several panels and then installed on the fuselage.

Inside you will find some cockpit walls features. Those deserve some washes and weathering.

Clear parts look fine out of the box. Yes, canopy is one-piece, so you won't be able to open it. Masks are not included in the package.

Yes, all those resin parts come in the standard package. In my opinion those things will be useful for fine details on your model.

Two PE frets will be useful for fine details on the model. In my opinion it is a welcome bonus which will come handy in that scale.

Decals sheet is not that big, but carries all necessary symbols. Printing quality looks fine. Assembly manual is typical for this brand. You can check all pages in the video-review.

New release should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is an interesting choice for modelers who would like to build something unusual. While single-seater Fiat is also not that often seen on exhibitions, double-seater would be even more special. Nevertheless, you should keep in mind that such build is definitely not for beginners. Plastic will require due care, and also multimedia parts might be tricky without necessary experience. I would also recommend to get some masks set in order to get a nice paintwork on your model.
