ICM 1/35 s.E.Pkw. Kfz.70 with Zwillingssockel 36 (35503)

Today we are going to talk about ICM 1/35 s.E.Pkw. Kfz.70 with Zwillingssockel 36 (35503). Kit comes as yet another version of the German car in popular scale. As you can notice on the boxart, this time we get a chance to copy a car with AA gun inside. Such build might be interesting for modelers who would like to work on wheeled vehicle. Packaging is typical for this brand. There are 211+30 parts which should assemble into a car with 137mm length. Let's open everything and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with figures set in the same scale.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer. :)

We are going to start with the biggest frame which carries chassis and some drivetrain parts. Note that whole engine is included, and it might be useful thing for some diorama ideas.

Next sprue brings a lot of thin parts. Here you will have to be careful in order not to break anything.

Kit allows to copy car with folded roof only. Wheel rims are molded separately, what should make it easier to paint those parts.

Body panels are molded on the separate frame. Those are quite large parts, but ICM included some guiding elements which will help you with proper positioning.

Vinyl tires are not my favorite, but should be enough for standard build project.

One more frame is dedicated to AA gun turret which will be set up in the rear part of the car. Molding quality looks great, but these will require due care while handling.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag, all parts look nice. Note that there are no masks in this kit. Decals are also good and all markings are shown on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. You can check all pages in the video-review.

Today's kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion this is definitely not something I would recommend to beginner, but experienced modelers will be able to get an interesting result. Moreover, standard plastic provides all necessary things in the standard package, so you just have to assemble them carefully. It looks like a decent candidate for some diorama project as long as you will find some figures to install inside.
