Galaxy Hobby 1/72 M1240A1 M-ATV (GH72A05)

Here comes another small scale armor kit - Galaxy Hobby 1/72 M1240A1 M-ATV (GH72A05). It comes in small scale as previous releases from the brand. Moreover, this time we get more bonuses inside the box. Real vehicle doesn't need an extra introduction and might be an interesting choice for diorama project. Packaging is typical, all frames come in separate bags. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another kit from the same brand.

You can help us get the new camera - just press "Donate" button on the right panel.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.

We are going to start with the biggest frame which carries hull parts. Here you can also see V-shaped bottom panel as well as separate doors.

Kit offers quite detailed suspension out of the box. Such thing might come handy for diorama ideas, but it should be visible even on solo-build.

These turret parts won't be needed as you will see replacement PE on the next photos. Be careful with thin parts, as those might be tricky to separate.

Clear parts look fine out of the box. There are no masks in the kit, so be ready to cover all this with your own stickers.

Whole top section of the hull comes as single-piece part. Note that doors are separate and can be assembled in open position if necessary.

Bonnet and front mask also come as one piece. Such design will make it easier to work with the model.

Chassis is also finished in the same way, you just have to separate it off the frame. Molding quality looks great.

For this release Galaxy Hobby also added several figurines. In 1/72 scale they look impressive and deserve nice paintwork done. :)

Another nice bonus - 3D-printed tires which also have sagging effect. Of course, the spare wheel tire is perfectly round.

This PE fret is also considered as the bonus because it will help you replace the original plastic turret with PE assembly. Of course, such item will require some certain skills from you.

Standard PE is also here. Be ready to work with some tiny parts which will need fine tweezers. Decals look fine and you can see some of the markings on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

Today's kit should be already available for purchase. In one box you will get a nice model together with all necessary bonuses. The only thing that would be cool to see is the masks sheet or at least template for them. Overall quality looks fine for this size, but this is definitely not a kit I would recommend to beginners. Moreover, some things might require special tools, so it is better to be ready for that. Whole build won't take a lot of space, and I think we will get back to this model later. ;)
