Eduard 1/72 Spitfire Mk.IXc Weekend (7466)

This article is dedicated to Eduard 1/72 Spitfire Mk.IXc Weekend (7466). Small scale kit comes as yet another boxing of the famous aircraft. As you can notice, it is molded in 1/72 scale, what might attract some modelers. Moreover, it is supplied as Weekend Edition, so price will be a bit more attractive as well. Don't forget that there are no PE parts or masks in the box. Packaging is typical here, so let's open it and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with German fighter in bigger scale.

First frame is dedicated to fuselage halves and wing parts. Note that top cowling cover should be glued out of two halves.

Two narrow sprues have ailerons and wingtips as well as tailwings. Note that elevators are premolded.

Next frame is dedicated to mix of various parts. Eduard placed here cockpit walls as well as landing gear wheels.

More cockpit parts can be found on the next frame. Note also fuel tanks and some of the external elements.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great and will allow you open the cockpit on your model.

Both decals are printed in Eduard. Printing quality looks great, and you will even find some cockpit decals here. All markings can be seen on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. You can check all pages in the video-review.

Small Spitfire should be already available. In my opinion it is still a nice kit in its scale. Moreover, Weekend Edition gives you a chance to get a good model for reasonable price. Eduard offers many useful add-ons, but it will be up to you which ones to get. Even the standard out-of-the-box build should look great in the finished state.
