Eduard 1/48 Fw 190A-3 Light Fighter Profipack (82141)

This review is dedicated to Eduard 1/48 Fw 190A-3 Light Fighter Profipack (82141). Kit comes as fresh release in popular scale. Of course, it also packs all the necessary bonuses, which are typical for such edition. Original Fw 190 kit proved to be really good, so it will be interesting to see what is supplied in this nice box. Let's open it and start with the video-review first.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.

First frame is dedicated to mix of various parts. Here you will find some cockpit elements as well as parts for the landing gear.

Next frame is dedicated to propellers, cockpit tubs and wheel well parts. Yes, there are several versions, so you will have to be careful in order to pick the right one.

Here we have another parts in several versions - fuel tanks and landing gear panels. It is good that there are so many spare parts in this release.

Wing parts have their separate frame. Note that flaps are molded in, so you will have to buy a separate PE set in order to have them in dropped position.

Fuselage halves come on the last grey frame. Both are molded with tail fin, but without rudder or front cowling section. External features include recessed panel lines and rivets.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, and you can see masks on the photo below.

Small PE fret will come handy for additional features in the cockpit. I recommend to use all these parts.

Kit features two decals sheets, both are printed in Eduard. As you can guess, quality looks great, and all markings can be seen on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New kit comes as yet another version of the famous German aircraft in popular scale. In my opinion it is a good choice for modelers who would like to have their own copy of Fw 190, but don't want to search for additional items. Here you get everything needed in one box. Nevertheless, professional modelers can get even more by ordering original Brassin accessories which will help them open up some of the aircraft areas.
Get this and other kits on official Eduard website.
