ICM 1/32 I-16 Type 24 with Pilots (32007)

This article is dedicated to ICM 1/32 I-16 Type 24 with Pilots (32007) . As name suggests, one box packs aircraft and figures. Such thing might be handy for diorama project in big scale. We got a commercial sample on the table, so it means that all the parts will be the same in your kit. Packaging is typical for ICM, sprues are packed into one plastic bag. There are 115+29 parts for aircraft and figures. Wingspan of the finished model should be equal to 282mm. Let's take a look at all frames here.

First one brings fuselage halves. and landing gear wheels. Note that cowling section will be assembled separately.

This kit also features a great copy of the engine. It would be a good idea to show it somehow on the finished model.

Front cowling section comes as single-piece element, so you won't have ugly seams in this area. Note that wing is molded with separate ailerons.

Last grey plastic sprue is dedicated to figures. Those are typical for 1/32 scale and should look good in the finished state.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks fine, but there are no masks in the kit.

Decals sheet is not big, but features all necessary symbols for several markings. Assembly manual is typical for ICM. You can check all pages in the video-review.

Today's kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it should be a great choice for beginners and professionals. Moreover, big scale doesn't mean crazy parts count and that is actually good for overall experience. ICM managed to keep many features, so it is not oversimplified. Moreover, you can buy some aftermarket sets which will add even more things to this beautiful aircraft.
