Eduard 1/48 F-14A (D48105)

This article is dedicated to Eduard 1/48 F-14A (D48105). Whole idea is quite simple - use this set in order to get something interesting out of recent Tamiya's kit in 1/48 scale. We already reviewed previous release, and you will find link below. It proved to be a decent add-on which should give you a nice result in such big scale. Well, now let's open the new set and see what is offered here.

First of all you can see the marking guide which also served as cover for the whole set. I show all pages in the video-review.

Kit features three decals sheets. Of course, all of them are printed in Eduard, so you don't have to worry about quality.

You might notice that there is no segmentation, so it will be necessary to carefully cut out the necessary symbols. Of course, some of those can be copied with help of masks, but it will require some time. Another thing to remember - Eduard decals can be applied in two ways, as modeler can completely remove the top film, but it is really tricky thing to do. I would recommend to train before this.

New set should be already available together with previous releases. In my opinion this is a great alternative to standard markings which we get in Tamiya release. Moreover, nice printing quality will contribute to the overall appearance, as the standard decals are not that good. The only thing required from you is to decide which marking you would like to have in your build. :)
