Brengun 1/72 Kokusai Ta-Go (BRP72046)

Today we have a chance to check Brengun 1/72 Kokusai Ta-Go (BRP72046). This model comes as fresh release from the well-known Czech model manufacturer. Small box will bring you all necessary parts to replicate Japanese suicide plane in the small scale. Moreover, this is a completely new plastic, so you can expect nice quality with some interesting features copied. Packaging is typical for this brand, so let's open the box and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another Japanese aircraft in the same scale.

There is no surprise that all parts fit onto one frame as it is going to be a small model. Overall design is typical for aircraft kit, so there are no surprises here. Note that left fuselage half features tail fin and rudder which will serve as guiding elements.

Inside you won't find any guiding pins, so be careful while joining everything together. It is good to see some cockpit structure premolded here.

Decals and windscreen come in the separate plastic bag. Kit doesn't feature any masks, so be ready to cut out small stickers. Marking guide can be seen on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand and comes in black-and-white format. You can check all pages in the video-review.

New Ta-Go should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is an interesting pick for those modelers who would like to build something different. Moreover, small scale model won't take a lot of space on the shelf, and this is definitely rare aircraft. The only thing I might recommend is to find some reference material for this aircraft, so that you will be able to add even more things to your project.
Get this and other kits on official Brengun website.

Pros

  • Nice molding quality
  • Clever parts division
  • Good decals

Cons

  • No masks for clear parts
  • Might be tricky for older modelers
