Potomac Books Speed

This time we are going to talk about Potomac Books Speed. I think cover shows what and who are the main heroes here. Whole book is dedicated to Robert J. Gilland, who was the first man to fly SR-71 and log the most hours on this type. Printing format is hardcover with images inside. There are 247 pages in total. Let's open them and take a closer look at what is there.
By the way, here you can read review with another interesting book.

I have to note that this book is not about pictures. You can expect well-detailed story inside with some photos in the middle section. In my opinion such format will let you focus on the most important things here.

SR-71 is still the fastest manned aircraft with max speed more than 3000 km/h. In my opinion this type deserves a separate read and it is great to learn more from the stories of the man who logged a lot of hours on this aircraft. Moreover, I like the overall style of this publication, it should be easy to read, and you will definitely find some interesting moments. This is not entirely modeling book, but even model-builders will find some handy things which they might copy on their diorama projects.
