ICM 1/35 Wehrmacht Personnel Cars (DS3504)

This time we are going to talk about ICM 1/35 Wehrmacht Personnel Cars (DS3504). Well, name says it all - one box carries several cars inside. All three are molded in 1/35 scale and should be handy for a nice diorama. Moreover, you don't have to build some military scene because those cars can be used in civil project as well. For those who wonder, we have Kapitan, Kadett and Admiral cars in the set. Packaging is typical here, sprues are separated in several bags. There are 184+157+130 parts for three cars. Let's open them and take a careful look.
By the way, here you can read review with armored car in the same scale.

First is Kapitan, as you can guess, full name is Opel Kapitan, but it wasn't used because of trademark things. On the photo above you can see body parts, note separate doors which might be handy in diorama projects.

All clear frames are packed into separate plastic bags in order to avoid possible scratches.

Next sprue is a bit bigger and carries almost all other parts which didn't fit on the first one. Note that roadwheels are molded out of plastic here.

Next we continue with Opel Kadett in the same scale. Overall design is somewhat similar to what we saw in the previous model.

Nevertheless, here you will have to deal with vinyl tires.

It also worth noting that there are no masks or templates for clear parts.

This car has doors molded in, so there is not that much you can do.

Be careful with thin parts and use plastic saw for their separation.

Last car is actually the biggest one out of three. Opel Admiral features one-piece roof and trunk part which you can see on the photo above.

Yes, doors are molded in, and you won't be able to open them. Each wheel fender is molded separately.

Clear parts look great, just be ready to mask them somehow.

Well, at least you can work with plastic wheels here. Whole idea is quite simple and should be quick to assemble.

Last grey frame is dedicated to engine and chassis parts. It might be a good idea to think on how to expose all these elements.

Decals sheets are printed in the same quality. Assembly manuals are typical for this brand. You can check all pages in the video-review.

Today's combo-set should be already available for purchase. One box will bring you several kits at once and it might be a good investment for modelers who would like to build German vehicles. Such models can be also used in some kind of diorama project. Overall quality in all three looks fine, but be ready to molded in doors and vinyl tires. Of course, there is also a huge space for additional details what might turn each car into even more convincing copy of the real object.
