Eduard 1/72 Avia S-199 Bubble Canopy Profipack (70151)

This time we are going to check Eduard 1/72 Avia S-199 Bubble Canopy Profipack (70151). As you can guess, new release brings us a small scale plastic model of the Czech aircraft. Moreover, it will help you copy version with bubble canopy which looks sleek in my opinion. This is a new plastic, so I decided to take a closer look at what's supplied in the nice box. Packaging is typical for this brand, so let's open it and check all the parts.

Let's start with the biggest frame in this set. Here you will find mix of various parts. Cockpit elements look fine and deserve careful painting.

Wing parts division is typical for such kit. Note that mechanization elements are molded separately.

Two fuselage halves come on the separate frame. Both are molded with tail fins, but without top cowling cover. External features include recessed panel lines and rivets.

Clear frame comes in the separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great and you can see masks sheet on the photo below.

PE fret will come handy for fine features on this model. Of course, some of those parts will go into the cockpit.

Two decals sheets are printed in Eduard. Quality looks nice, and you can check all markings on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New set is already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a good chance to assemble your own S-199 in small scale and together with all necessary upgrades. Moreover, such model might be interesting even for less experienced modelers who are brave enough to start such project. The only thing I would like to remind you of is the huge choice of original accessories, some of them are definitely worth checking and considering purchase. :)
