Miniart 1/35 Austin Armoured Car 1918 Pattern Ireland 1919-21 (39016)

This article is dedicated to Miniart 1/35 Austin Armoured Car 1918 Pattern Ireland 1919-21 (39016). As you can guess, we get the fresh version of the Interior Kit in popular scale. This time it features new markings and the same great features. Packaging is typical, so let's open it and take a closer look together. I recommend you to watch the video-review below if you would like to see more.
By the way, here you can read review with fruits set which might come handy.

We are going to start with small frames. Here you can see turret parts and headlamps. Of course, you will have to combine the latter with clear parts.

Next we find top sections with separate hatches. Machine guns look great and should be easy to install in place.

I am glad to see plastic wheels here. Such element should be a better-looking addition to your Austin. Moreover, separate wheel rims will be easier to paint.

Whole hull should be glued out of separate panels. Don't worry, clever engineering will make it easy to do, but still it might be a good idea to do some dry fitment.

It is good that kit features separate hatches and doors. Such feature should come handy for exposing internals or maybe in some diorama projects. Note that thin elements can be replaced with metal wires.

The last frame is dedicated to main chassis and engine parts. Suspension should also look fine, so definitely play with weathering here.

Clear frame is packed with decals. Molding quality looks fine, but there are no masks included.

Decals sheet comes from Decograph. You can see all five markings on the photo below. PE fret comes in the special envelope with Miniart logo. There are a lot of tiny parts, so be ready to work with tweezers.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

Overall this is another great release from Miniart. In my opinion it offers great choice of markings and full interior should be fun to work with. Nevertheless, you should be careful here as this is definitely not the right choice for beginners. Small parts will make it a bit complex for those who are not used to work with tools. If you are fine with this, then definitely go for it because such vehicle might be a good project to train your skills on.
