This time we have a chance to check 1 Man Army 1/32 Spitfire Mk.I/Mk.II RAF (32DET013). Set features masks for the whole aircraft in big scale. Key word here is "whole aircraft" as you won't be replicating just the main symbols. No, instead you will copy stencils as well, and this might be a great thing to have in big scale. All this sounds interesting, so I decided to check one copy. Packaging is typical here, and product is shipped in sturdy envelope, so everything should be okay. First is the application manual. I would recommend to carefully study it as you will need these instructions during painting process.

I have to say that brochure is surprisingly detailed. It is not just schematic view of the aircraft.

Authors decided to supply us with useful information instead. In my opinion this is a great idea which should work.

Some masks require proper application sequence, so definitely be careful and follow instructions.

Masks come on several yellow sheets.

These stickers are pre-cut and ready to be used out of the box. I have to note that quality which looks great.

Be careful with stencil masks as those tiny masks will require due attention. Nevertheless, it is still impressive to see those writings as masks.

First of all I have to say that I am happy to see such products coming to the market. Yes, all those tiny writings might be tricky for some modelers, but final result should be worth it. Moreover, it will be easier to notice in the big scale, that's why it is recommended for all fans of big scale modelling. The only thing required from you - to carefully study the instructions and then go for applying all these masks. Be ready to have a strategy on when to use this or that mask. :)

Для начала хотелось бы сказать, что меня радуют подобные новинки на модельном рынке. Да, все эти небольшие надписи будут непростыми для некоторых моделистов, но итоговый результат стоит того. Более того, в крупном масштабе работа будет более заметной, поэтому я могу только порекомендовать новинку. Единственное, что от вас потребуется - внимательно прочитать инструкцию и разработать план когда использовать те или иные маски. :)
