This article is dedicated to Eduard 1/72 F6F-3 Weekend (7457). As you can guess, we get yet another boxing of the well-known plastic kit. Small Hellcat is easy to build and it can be recommended even to beginners. Well, new boxing comes in refreshed styling with beautiful boxart on the top. By the way, you can buy this picture as a poster in official Eduard webshop. Packaging is typical, all frames come in one plastic bag. Let's open them and take a closer look together.

We are going to start with wing parts. Each side should be glued out of two halves. Note that wing mechanization will serve as guiding element.

Cockpit floor and the engine can be found on the next frame. Molding quality looks good, so you can get a decent result out of the box.

Пол кабины и двигатель уместились на следующей рамке. Качество литья смотрится отлично, так что хороший результат можно получить прямо из коробки.

Two fuselage halves come on the last frame. Note that the left one features rudder and it will be used as guiding element. Cowling should be assembled out of separate parts.

Две половины фюзеляжа идут на последнем литнике. Обратите внимание, что левая деталь также имеет руль направления. Капот собирается из отдельных деталей.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks included as this kit is a Weekend Edition.

Прозрачная рамка упакована отдельно. Качество литья выглядит отлично, но масок в комплекте нет.

Both decal sheets are printed in Eduard, so you don't have to worry about the quality. All four marking options can be seen on the photo below.

New kit should be already available for purchase together with accessories. In my opinion it is still as good as it was before. Small Hellcat might be a good choice for complete beginners and it can be also a great pick for professionals. Moreover, there are some original accessories available, so it is possible to add even more things into small aircraft. I would definitely recommend to buy masks set as it would speed up the build. :)

Новый набор уже должен быть в продаже. Я считаю, что он всё так же хорош, как и раньше. Небольшой Хэлкет станет отличным выбором для новичков, а также для опытных моделистов. Более того, есть ещё и оригинальные дополнения, так что можно будет добавить ещё больше проработки. Рекомендую докупить маски, они помогут сфокусироваться на более важных вещах.
