Today we are going to talk about Valiant Wings Me 262 Airframe and Miniature (1 Revised). Don't be confused by the number in the name of this book. This is a completely revised first release from the well-known publisher. They decided to add more info, so now we have almost twice more pages with new kits and more photos. Sounds like a great update, and I decided to take a closer look at what is printed here. Whole format is standard - softcover with 208 pages. Let's open it and check everything together.

Авторы решили пересмотреть содержание и обновить информацию, добавить больше фотографий. Всё это звучит интересно, поэтому я решил рассмотреть новинку поближе. Формат стандартный - мягкий переплёт с 208 страницами внутри. Давайте откроем их и рассмотрим вместе.

As usual, we are going to start with contents page. Here you can see that whole book is divided into airframe and miniature chapters. There are nine of them in total.

Everything starts with development history. Here you will find interesting photos, and it is worth noting that whole book includes more than 200 images.

Next chapter highlights main differences between versions, but there is also a bit more detailed inclusion in the latter chapters. Of course, there is separate section with markings, what might come handy for those who would like to copy something unusual.

Model building articles come in traditional style, so you can expect detailed photos and extensive description of what was done here and there. On the photo below you can see "In Detail" chapter which shows various parts of the real aircraft.

Today's book should be already available for purchase. In my opinion this is a great update and it is worth buying even if you have the first issue. Authors managed to cover all new kits and gather more information which would be handy in our hobby. Moreover, price stays at reasonable level of 25GBP, so it won't damage your wallet. I recommend this book to all modelers who would like to have extensive source of information in one publication. :)

Сегодняшняя книга уже должна быть в продаже. Я считаю, что это отличное обновление и его стоит купить даже если у вас есть первый выпуск. Авторы смогли добавить все новинки и насобирать больше полезной информации. Более того, цена осталась на резонном уровне и не сильно повлияет на ваш бумажник. Рекомендую книгу всем моделистам, которые хотели бы получить подробный источник в виде одного издания. :)
