New metal for Airfix kit
Hi!
Today's review is dedicated to the new set from Scale Aircraft Conversions. This time it's designed for 1/48 Gloster Meteor kit from Airfix. Mentioned plastic model is quite new, and it's nice to see that SAC reacted so fast, and now we can buy metal legs for the airplane. Package is quite typical cardboard box with transparent front side, so that you can check parts before purchase.

Сегодняшний обзор посвящён новому набору от Scale Aircraft Conversions. В этот раз он предназначен для 48-го Gloster Meteor от Airfix. Упомянутая модель довольно новая, и приятно видеть, что SAC так быстро отреагировали. Упаковка типична - коробочка с прозрачной передней частью, чтобы вы могли рассмотреть всё перед покупкой.
All metal parts are shown on the photos above and below. Molding quality is quite nice, so there is almost no metal flash to clean. Parts design is similar to the original plastic kit and should be easy to install on the model.
Все металлические детали показаны на фото выше и ниже. Качество литья довольно приятное, так что на деталях почти нет металлического облоя. Членение и проработка похожи на оригинальные пластиковые детали, так что их будет несложно установить на модель.
Today's set is a must-have if you plan to assemble a detailed airplane with different extras on board. We all know that PE and resin parts noticeably increase weight of the finished model, and therefore it's crucial to have reliable support in form of metal legs.
