Miniart 1/35 US Ammo-Loading Tank Crew (53069)

Today we are going to talk about Miniart 1/35 US Ammo-Loading Tank Crew (53069). Whole idea of this release is quite straightforward - several figures in the same scale. Moreover, it is not only soldiers, but also ammo and boxes, which come as perfect bonus in the box. Some of you might remember that Miniart released some other crews before, and it will be interesting to check the new one. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, and all frames are sealed into one plastic bag. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.

Total amount of sprues is rather impressive for "just four figures". You can see them all on the photo above.

We are going to start with one of the tankmen. As you can notice, we get typical parts division for this scale, so there are separate legs, hands and one-piece torso.

All positions are fixed, and there are no alternative options for those guys.

Two sprues of this type are dedicated to various equipment which you can use with the figurines.

Overall molding quality looks great, you just have to decide on what to use with your soldiers.

Next soldier also comes on his own frame. Sculpting looks fine and should be convincing in assembled form.

There are no guiding elements, so be careful while joining everything together.

It goes without saying that those guys should be great addition to some Sherman or Stuart or even Lee in the same scale.

Miniart also has great attention to small details, what is appreciated in a kit like this one.

Nevertheless, pre-defined poses will require some planning as you will need to place them in convincing way on your tank.

For example, this seated guy will be assembled with one ammo round in hands.

Kit also features some weapons for soldiers.

Size might look too small, but this is what we should expect in 1/35 scale.

Note that ammo rounds are supplied in several versions, what might be handy for various build ideas.

Ammo boxes should be glued out of separate panels. There is no wooden texture, what is good for replicating the surface you need in your build.

There are guiding elements on the opposite side, so don't worry about overall alignment.

Decals sheet is not that large, but carries all necessary stencils for ammo and boxes. Marking guide and assembly manual are printed on the rear side of the box.

New set should be already available for purchase together with other novelties from the same brand. In my opinion this is an interesting choice for modelers who would like to build diorama project with tank in the same scale. It is cool to get not only the figures, but also ammo and boxes, as they will bring even more realistic features to the whole thing. Price is also quite reasonable, so be sure to check today's set if you plan to assemble Sherman or Stuart for example.
