Miniart 1/35 Type 3.6-6700A Early Prod. Truck (35199)

This article will tell you more about Miniart 1/35 Type 3.6-6700A Early Prod. Truck (35199). New release comes as yet another WW2 model kit from the famous manufacturer. It is molded in popular scale and should be interesting for modelers who would like to have their own copy. Moreover, this would work as diorama project or even as solo build. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, so all frames are sealed into one plastic bag. Let's open them and take a close look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another version.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.

First frame is dedicated to mix of parts mainly connected with drivetrain. Overall molding quality looks great even on the tiniest ones.

Doors are molded separately, so you can open them if necessary. Moreover, you can replicate version with open windows too. Rear bed floor panel has smooth surface and should be easy to assemble.

Front cab is separated into several panels. Here you can also see raised sidepanels for one of the truck versions.

Bonnet can be assembled open thanks to special parts. This feature will be handy in order to show the engine.

Wheel rims are molded separately and should be easier to paint. Note that stowage boxes come in closed position, but I guess experienced modelers can quickly fix it if necessary.

Front grille is supplied in two versions - with or without badge. Yes, jerry cans come in standard package and should be useful for overall look.

Another assembly options includes those thin frames for the tarpauline. Leaf springs and drivetrain parts look great, but I wonder how easy it would be to see those on the finished moodel.

Each tire should be glued out of several sections. This is a typical Miniart feature which is definitely better than vinyl tires.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks included in the kit.

Unpainted PE fret should be handy for some fine features on your model. Decals are printed in Cartograf, so you don't have to worry about any issues. All options are shown on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New truck should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who would like to have this vehicle in their collection. Nevertheless, it is better to have at least some experience, so that all tiny bits won't scare you. Molding quality is great out of the box, and you just need to put everything together. Well, maybe driver figurine could be a good thing to add too. :)
