This review is dedicated to ICM 1/32 Bu 131D Winter Version (32029). New set comes as yet another version of the famous German biplane in large scale. I reviewed the previous releases, so it will be interesting to see what is offered here and how the new version will be different. Overall packaging is typical, and all parts come in one plastic bag. In total there are 90 parts which should assemble into a model with 231mm wingspan. Let's open everything and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another version of this aircraft.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
First frame is dedicated to mix of parts, so you will find wing half as well as cockpit framings. Engine is also here, and it might be worth thinking on how to show it on the finished model.
Yes, all parts fit on two frames, hence such small count. Second sprue is dedicated to fuselage halves, cowling panels and wing parts. Note that one of the fuselage parts is molded with tail fin.
Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks for those parts.
Yes, winter landing gear option will be replicated with help of resin parts. Those look fine out of the box, but might require a careful separation off the frame.
Decals sheet is not that big, but you will find all necessary symbols for several markings. Printing quality looks great straight out of the box.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.
New Bucker should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great pick for modelers who would like to build something bigger without breaking their bank. Moreover, today's version might be handy for some cool diorama ideas in large scale. Overall quality looks great out of the box, and you just need to be careful with resin parts. There are also some aftermarket accessories available from various brands, but you will have to pay for them separately.
