In this article I will tell you more about Miniart 1/48 German and Romanian Pilots with Ground Staff (49024). As you can guess from the name, new release brings us a whole box of various figurines which can be handy with aircraft build. They are molded in popular scale and come in different positions. Overall packaging is typical here, so all frames are sealed into one plastic bag. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.

First frame is dedicated to various tools. Yes, those come in the standard package and might be handy for ground crew figures.

As for the pilots and crew, they come on several frames. Overall parts division is typical for this scale and differs from what we are used to see in 1/35 scale.

Sculpting looks great even in such small size, but it will require some careful painting. Note that there are no guiding elements, and it is better to check alignment of those parts.

Pilots are mostly in standing positions, so you can place them next to aircraft or on the wing.

Yes, there is also a PE fret included. These parts should be used for various tools together with plastic ones we saw before.

Figures assembly manual is combined together with marking guide and printed on the rear side of the box. Tools have their own brochure which is shown on the photo below.

New set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who would like to add extra touch to their aircraft build. Overall quality is great straight out of the box, so you just need to carefully paint everything. Of course, it can be also good to have more references for uniform and markings. I still hope that such kits will finally get insignia decals which could be handy for even more detailed look.
