ICM 1/48 MH-6J Little Bird (48369)

This time I will tell you more about ICM 1/48 MH-6J Little Bird (48369). Kit comes as new-tooled plastic from the well-known brand. It copies US Special Forces Helicopter and should be an interesting build on its own. This model won't take a lot of space as there are 147 parts in the box which should assemble into a helicopter with 182mm length. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, so let's open it and take a closer look together.

There are only two grey frames in the set. The first one is the biggest and carries fuselage halves as well as tail boom and rotor blades. Such parts division is very smart and should come handy for a fine look.

Each fuselage half has doors molded separately. Yes, you can assemble version without doors too.

Inside you will find guiding elements as well as some minor features. Most of the cockpit will be assembled separately and inserted in between halves.

Second frame is full of small parts, and in some cases you will need tweezers in order to install something in place. Overall molding quality looks great, I didn't find any big problems here.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality is also nice, those sections look like real glass. Keep in mind that there are no masks in the kit.

Decals sheet is not that big, but you will find all necessary symbols for several markings. Printing quality look great.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New small helicopter should be already available for purchase. In my opinion ICM did a great job here, and all parts look nice straight out of the box. Yes, in some cases elements might be too tiny for older modelers, but it is something you expect to see in 1/48 kit. I also expect some aftermarket a bit later, so be sure to pick up masks and seatbelts for your "Little Bird". :)
