ICM 1/35 Achtung Sie Fliegen (35407)

Today I will tell you more about ICM 1/35 Achtung Sie Fliegen (35407). As boxart hints, there are several sets packed into one box - truck and figurines. Both should be handy for a diorama scene in popular scale. I reviewed those as separate releases, but now it is interesting to see what is supplied in the box. Overall packaging is typical, and there are 402 parts for the truck and 37 for figures. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another German combo from ICM.

First we see special platform which will be used on the truck to install the AA gun. Overall molding quality looks fine here, just be careful with thin parts.

FLAK 38 will be assembled separately and installed on this platform. It might be a good idea to play with weathering on the gun.

Whole FLAK set might be familiar to some modelers as it was released even as separate kit.

Figurines parts division is typical for this scale, so you will get separate hands, legs and one-piece torso. Sculpting looks great on those, you just need to carefully paint everything.

Truck wheels can be found on the next sprue. Don't forget that we are dealing with halftrack here and you will have to assemble rear side out of parts on the photo below.

Yes, there are separate track links, so be careful while joining everything together. Roadwheels are looking great here and deserve a proper paintwork.

Chassis should be glued out of separate bars, so be sure to check the alignment. Engine is also here, and might be handy for some diorama ideas.

Front cab should be glued out of separate panels. Doors are molded as separate parts too, and can be opened on your build.

Yes, there are two versions of the front cab. This gives quite a big choice for you on which one to pick for your build.

Clear frames are packed into separate plastic bags. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masking templates for those.

Decals also look fine and should be easy to work with. Note that separate sheet is provided for the FLAK 38. One of the options can be seen on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. You can check all pages in the video-review.

New combo-set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great pick for modelers who would like to get all necessary items at once. Moreover, quality looks great out of the box, so in some cases even standard build would be enough. There is also plenty of space to experiment with weathering and paintwork, so be sure to have good references for your project.
