Today we are going to talk about Sabre Model 1/72 Multi Purpose Van (72A07). As the name and funny boxart suggest, we should get combo set in a small scale. There are two versions included - rescue and ambulance, both can be useful for some diorama ideas. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, so frames are packed into separate plastic bag. Note that kit is named as "Part 1", so there will be more options in the future. Let's open this nice box and check everything together.
By the way, here you can read review with another combo vehicle set.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
Frame "A" comes with floor panel and some interior parts. Overall they look great and deserve a nice paintwork. Some modelers might even try to add seatbelts and some other items.
"External" floor panel comes on the next frame. Note that spare wheel is premolded, just like some other features on this part.
Clear frames are packed into separate plastic bags, so they should arrive intact. Molding quality looks great even on the tiniest parts.
There are no masks in the kit, so be ready to carefully cover all those transparencies. Well, for some of the ambulance markings you will have to paint over clear parts.
Car body is molded as one-piece part. Quality here looks great, but don't expect any separate doors or bonnet. Scale is just too small for this, I guess.
Small metal rods will be used for wheels installation on the vehicle.
Vinyl tires should be looking fine on the standard build. They are not too rich in features, but that's what we get out of the box.
There are even some PE parts to be installed on your van. Sabre Model copied mudguard with help of those metal bits.
Decals sheet is not that big, but printing quality looks fine. Here you will find even some interior decals. All markings can be seen on the photo below.
Assembly manual is printed in color. You can check all pages in the video-review.
New release should be already available for some time. Overall quality looks great and let's not forget that there are two models in one box. In my opinion this is a perfect pick for modelers who would like to build something different from all those military kits around. Moreover, you are given a choice between two versions, what can be useful as well. This is definitely not the kit for modelers with bad eyesight, but some careful assembly will give you a nice results. :)
