This article will tell you more about Miniart 1/35 Raupenschlepper OST RS0/01 (53048). New vehicle comes as yet another version of the tracked carrier from WW2 times. It is molded in popular scale, and I reviewed the previous releases, they are definitely recommended to check. The main difference for today one is the wooden structure in the rear part. Manufacturer promises several assembly options, so it will be interesting to see what is included here. Overall packaging is typical for the brand, and all frames come sealed in one plastic bag. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with interesting winter version.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
First frame would look familiar to you if you saw the reviews with previous releases. Here you can see panels for the lower hull section as well as suspension elements.
Rear bed should be assembled out of separate panels. Note that features look great straight out of the box and deserve a nice paintwork.
Here you can see the new frame which carries parts for the wooden shelter. Overall design is rather simple, but you should be able to show what is inside with help of windows and separate door.
Kit also features quite generous interior, so it might be a good idea to plan on how to paint and show it on the finished project.
Roadwheels and tracks come on several frames. Metal wheels should be easy to work with as you won't need to mask anything.
Here you can see drive sprockets and several assembly options for the rear panel - one with a door, and another one with folded tarpauline. Note that there is no unfolded version in the box, but it should be easy to replicate with your hands and tools.
Engine is included just like in the previous releases. Moreover, it is not just a simple plug, but nicely detailed powerplant which deserves a good paintwork.
Front cab should be assembled out of separate panels, but there are guiding elements to help in the process. Note also doors which can be positioned open if necessary.
Suspension is simple on this one and won't take a lot of time.
Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks included as usual.
Small PE fret should be handy for some fine details on your vehicle. Just be sure to have pointed tweezers for assembly. Decals are printed in Cartograf, and cover three markings which you can see on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.
New version should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is another great unusual pick from Miniart which offers a lot straight out of the box. Assembly might take some time due to the size of the vehicle, but final result should be worth it. Moreover, it is great to see plenty of assembly options in the standard package too. The only thing that could be good to add is the figurines, at least some driver in the cab.
