Zvezda 1/72 T-70B (5078)

This time I am going to talk about Zvezda 1/72 T-70B (5078). New release comes as yet another small scale tank from the famous brand. Previous releases proved to be interesting and fun to build, so it is definitely worth checking what is supplied in the new one. Overall packaging is typical, so box is relatively small and all frames come sealed in one bag. In total there are 122 parts which should assemble into a model with 5.9cm length. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.

Top hull section and side shelves come on the first frame. Here you can also see turret parts as well as track lengths. Yes, some hatches are separate, but there is no interior in such small kit.

Roadwheels come molded with rubber sections, so you will have to carefully paint those. Also note the drive sprockets have attachment points right on teeth.

Lower hull section is designed as one-piece element, what is really great. Such design will make it easier to assemble the model in the right shape.

Kit features several marking options, you will find them shown on separate color printout.

Decals sheet is not that big, but Zvezda also included full number registry here. On the photo below you can see pictures of the finished kit.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand and comes in black-and-white. You can check all pages in the video-review.

Small tank should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is an interesting choice for modelers who don't have space for 1/35 scale project. Moreover, you get a lot of features out of the box, and there are also several assembly options. It might be worth searching for figurines to add to this tiny build. I think the standard project would be cool experience, so definitely give it a try.
