Today we are going to take a look together at ICM 1/24 Ford A Gangster Car (24052). Overall idea is exactly what boxart shows - car after gunshots, some guns and money bags. All this can turn into an interesting diorama project if you add some figurines in the mix. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, so all parts come in one plastic bag. There are 203+16 parts for assembly of the vehicle and additional items. Finished model will be 160mm long, so it is not a big thing to build. Let's open all sprues and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another Model A release.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
I would like to start with the new parts. Here you can see the dashboard and weapons with bag. Overall quality looks decent and should be easy to work with.
Side panels are molded shut, so unfortunately you won't be able to build abandoned vehicle with all doors opened wide. Nevertheless, there are guiding elements which should help with alignment.
ICM was quite generous in terms of features that you get out of the box. Some parts are quite tiny, so be ready to work with tweezers in some cases.
Soft top is given only in extended version, and there is no open version included in the kit. Overall design is quite straightforward here.
Spoked wheels should be assembled out of plastic parts. Some modelers cut out all of this and replace spokes with metal wire.
Bonnet should be assembled out of several panels, there is no open option mentioned in the assembly manual. Nevertheless, it should be relatively easy to replicate one if needed.
Yes, engine is included in the box, and that's why I think it might be handy to try to open the bonnet and show what is inside.
Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Overall molding quality looks great, and there are even masking templates included in the manual.
Yes, there are vinyl tires, and this is something you won't be able to avoid. Overall quality looks fine for out of the box build.
Decals sheet is not that big, but you will find all necessary things here. Yes, bullet holes are replicated with decals here. Printing quality looks fine. Assembly manual is typical for ICM, and you can check all pages in the video-review.
Today's kit should be already available for purchase. Overall it looks like a great thing to work on, but there are few things you can add. One of the first ideas is the bullet holes of course. Boxart hints on this, so it might be good to replicate on your project. Decals are good, but for some modelers it might be fun to replicate with actual painting. Another idea is to get some figurines for this nice car. In my opinion it would look as nice in the solo-build, but small diorama would enhance the whole idea.
