ICM 1/24 The Various Tin Lizzie (DS2402)

In this article I will tell you more about ICM 1/24 The Various Tin Lizzie (DS2402). As the boxart might hint that one box brings several models together. All of them are molded in the same scale, so you can have a nice parking lot or build those vehicles separately. Overall packaging is typical, each set is packed into separate plastic bag. There are 109 parts for Roadster version, 127 parts for the Firetruck and 108 parts for the Light Delivery Car. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.

As the main set of parts is the same, let's start with the frames which are specific for each version. On the photo above you can see van panels which should be combined together. Rear doors are separate and can be opened.

Next one is for the firetruck, and you can immediately notice some specific equipment here. Overall quality looks great, and even ladder is supplied as one-piece.

Next we see frames which are used for all three. Here you will find drivetrain and engine parts. Note that bonnet should be closed, but it is possible to open it with some additional cutting done.

Plastic wheel rims look nice and can be painted separately.

Windscreen is molded separately, and such design might save you from unnecessary masking. Radiator grille looks great and deserves a nice drybrushing.

Car body panels for roadster can be found on the last grey frame. Doors are molded in, while roof should be glued out of several sections.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks for those parts.

All models come with vinyl tires, so you might be good to search some 3D-printed replacement if you would like to.

Decals sheet is not big, and you will find symbols for Delivery Car version. Printing quality looks fine. Assembly manual is typical for this brand, and you can check all pages in the video-review.

New combo-set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who would like to have all three cars. Moreover, the quality looks fine even for the standard build, so the only thing you can add is the base stand and figurine. Tricky thing might be to replicate chrome elements on this car, but I think it might be a good learning experience as well.
