Arma Hobby 1/72 Curtiss H-75 A1/A2 (70080)

This review will tell you more about Arma Hobby 1/72 Curtiss H-75 A1/A2 (70080). New small scale kit comes as new-tool plastic and might be interesting for all aviation modelers. Previous releases proved to be great straight out of the box, so it will be good to check what is offered in the new set. Overall packaging is typical for the brand, and all frames come in one plastic bag. Let's open it and take a closer look together.

First frame comes with mix of parts. Here you will find engine, cockpit elements, some landing gear bits and even cowling panels. Note that instrument panel has premolded dials on it.

Second sprue is bigger and has fuselage with wing parts. Overall design is rather classic, but note that wing mechanization is premolded here.

Inside you will find not only guiding pins, but also some of the premolded cockpit features. Those might be good pick up with pointed brush.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Overall molding quality looks great, and you also get masks included, they are shown on the photo below.

Note that masks will cover not only clear parts, but also landing gear wheels too.

Next bonus is something more of example, as you will have to use your own printer (link is provided on the assembly manual) in order to have such parts. Nevertheless, it might be handy for fine features on your model.

Decals sheet is not that big, but features all necessary symbols for several marking options. Overall quality looks great, and you can check all options on the photo below.

New Curtiss should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a nice offering from the famous brand. Plastic keeps the bar raised by previous releases, and you get all necessary items straight out of the box. Moreover, it is nice to see some modern features in form of 3D print file which can help you get more features into the model. I have no doubt that there will be more versions in the future, so let's see what Arma Hobby will bring for this aircraft.
