This time you are going to learn more about ICM 1/48 B-26G Marauder (48323). It is not hard to guess that we get another version of the twin-engine bomber in big scale. Previous releases proved to be great straight out of the box, so it will be interesting to see what is offered here. Overall packaging is typical for the brand, so parts come in several bags. There are 380 parts which should assemble into a model with 453mm wingspan. Let's open them all and take a closer look in the video and photos.
By the way, here you can read review with another aircraft kit from the same brand.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
First frame carries some of the interior panels as well as wing mechanization parts. This aircraft will have quite detailed interior parts, so it might be worth thinking on how to expose them.
Yes, here we continue with even more internal parts. Molding quality looks great, but some of those are quite thin and small, so take your time while installing them.
This frame comes in two as we get landing gear and engine parts here. It is nice of ICM to include detailed engines for both sides. You can think of showing one on the finished model.
Bulkheads should also act as large wing supports, but in my opinion this won't be enough. Get a proper metal rod, which will ensure the proper fitment.
Fuselage halves are big and feature nice external and internal details. Don't forget about placing weight inside, as it should be almost 100g in the model.
Each wing should be assembled out of two large panels. Engine gondolas are glued out of two halves. There are guiding pins which should help you during this process.
New tailwings can be found on the next sprue. Here you will also get some of the interior parts which are specific for today's version.
Premolded features look great, it might be worth picking them out with washes.
Last grey sprue also carries pair of wing panels and some of the interior parts too. Don't forget to find seatbelts as those will be visible on the finished project.
External features include recessed panel lines and rivets. Attachment points are thin enough to carefully separate each part.
Clear frames are packed into separate plastic bags. Molding quality looks great straight out of the box.
Don't worry, all those clear areas should be easy to cover as ICM provides masking template in the assembly manual.
Decals sheet is not that big, but here you will get all necessary symbols for three marking options. Printing quality looks great. You can see markings on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.
New Marauder should be already available for purchase. In my opinion this is definitely not something for beginners, but experienced modelers can have fun. Moreover, you get all necessary things in the standard package. Additional items are on the market, but this is more of your decision whether to invest more into the project. Remember that finished model will take plenty of space, but it can be also a good object for some diorama idea.
