New book comes as yet another version of the publication which is dedicated to the famous USAAF fighter aircraft. New edition contains revised articles as well as new kits builds and even more pages. It arrives as thick softcover book with 272 pages inside. All this sounds impressive, so I think it is worth opening this nice cover and checking what is printed inside.

We start with contents page. As usual, whole book is divided into two sections - Airframe and Miniature chapters. Each will be handy in its own way.

Everything begins with history note where you will be able to track the development of the aircraft. Worth noting that there are more than 200 photos in the book.

"Evolution" chapter will be a bit more detailed on what were the differences between various versions. Yes, we get photos and profiles here.

My favorite camouflage and markings part is also here, and you will get nice color profiles of the various aircraft. In total there are more than 30 pages dedicated to this.

I have to say that builds section was enhanced with help of new model assemblies. Here you will find latest plastic from Arma Hobby, Brengun and Eduard. As usual, process is shown with help of detailed images and text.

"Building a Collection" chapter will be even more understandable and try to show you what has changed in this or that type of aircraft. Very useful thing in case you are trying to copy something specific.

"In Detail" chapter is also here and presents you with a mix of color and black-and-white photos together with various drawings. This is a dream of all modelers who don't like to stop with standard plastic features. :) Note that 1/48 drawings are also included here.

New book should be already out on official website of the publisher. Price will be set at 28.95GBP, what is typical for this series. In my opinion it is a must-have for all aviation fans. One book will bring you all necessary info and definitely come handy for a model build. History readers should be also pleased, as authors tried to keep contents interesting and show all parts of the famous Mustang. :)
