Miniart 1/72 StuG III Ausf.G May/June 1943 (72107)

In this article I will tell you more about Miniart 1/72 StuG III Ausf.G May/June 1943 (72107). Small vehicle comes as the new version with fresh camouflages. I assembled this plastic already and have to say that whole experience was fun, and it is interesting to see what is included in the new boxing. Overall packaging is typical for the brand, all parts are sealed into one plastic bag. Let's open it and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read build-review with this plastic.

For the close look I show all parts in this video-review, which is recommended to watch.

First frame is one of the biggest and features the mix of parts. Here you will find armor panels for the superstructure as well as track sections.

Drivetrain assembly might be a bit tedious, but final result should be worth your time. Note also plastic tracks which is another advantage of this kit.

Lower hull section should be glued out of separate panels. Fitment is quite nice here, so you won't have any issues. Note that kit offers two versions of the engine bay cover.

Towing cables will need some metal wire in order to be copied on your StuG. Kit is full of tiny parts, so be ready to work with tweezers in some cases.

PE fret is packed into a separate envelope with manufacturer's logo. Those tiny schurzen panels will be handy for some of the markings.

Clear parts look great, but there are no masks included in the kit. Decals are printed in Cartograf and quality is nice. You can see all markings on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New StuG should be already available for purchase together with all the previous versions. In my opinion it is a decent little kit for quite a reasonable price. Moreover, you will get a lot of details straight out of the box. Nevertheless, such set is definitely not for beginners, and it is better to have some experience if you are going to work with those tiny parts. I am also still hoping that we will see 1/72 scale figurines from Miniart for those StuGs. :)
