ICM 1/72 Biplanes 1930-40s (72210)

This article will tell you more about ICM 1/72 Biplanes 1930-40s (72210). As the boxart hints, there are three aircraft if one box. All of them are molded in the same scale, so you can have an interesting scene together with all three assembled. Those are not exactly new models, but it is still interesting to check them closer. Packaging is typical for ICM, so all parts are separated into several plastic bags. In total there are 102 parts for U-2/Po-2, 34 parts for Ki-10 II, and 50 parts for He 51A-1. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with Po-2 model, but in bigger scalehere you can read review with Po-2 model, but in bigger scale.

First frame is dedicated to fuselage halves and wing parts. Note that cowling front should be assembled separately.

Inside you will find modest cockpit details and no guiding elements. By the way, all of those parts are needed for Ki-10.

Windscreen is copied with film, so be ready for this.

Next comes He 51 in the same scale. Overall design is similar to what we saw on the Japanese aircraft, so it should be nice to work with.

Cockpit features and lack of guiding elements hint at the age of this kit. Note also small amount of flash around some parts.

Yes, clear parts are copied with film again. :)

Unlike previous two kits, Po-2 will get "normal" plastic parts for the windscreens on the aircraft. There are no masks included.

As for the fuselage halves, they are molded on one large frame Overall details look more crisp as this plastic is more recent in comparison with other two.

Some of the armament is also included. It might be useful in case you would like to install it on your model.

Three decals sheets look fine out of the box. Assembly manuals are typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

Today's combo-set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is an interesting choice for modelers who would like to have three famous biplanes at once. Overall quality is fine, but this is not something I would recommend to beginners. Biplanes are not that easy to work on, especially in small scale as those. Nevertheless, there is still great potential for some upgrades if you would like to add something.
