ICM 1/35 Studebaker US6-U3 (35490)

This article will tell you more about ICM 1/35 Studebaker US6-U3 (35490). Yes, this is another version of the famous American truck from the famous manufacturer. It is molded in popular scale and might be interesting for modelers who would like to have this vehicle for some project. Overall packaging is typical for the brand, so all frames come in resealable plastic bags. There are 217 parts which should assemble into a model with 183mm length. First frame is dedicated to front cab panels. Overall design is classic, and we also get separately molded doors. Note that there are two types of grilles out of the box.

It is interesting to see drivetrain molded as single-piece part here. Engine is also included out of the box.

Rear bed should be glued out of separate panels. Wooden bars here have smooth surface.

Note that tarpauline frames are also provided in the kit, so you can come up with your own cover. Fitment should be nice thanks to smart design of parts.

Plastic wheels are the great advantage for such kit. Overall features look great, but there are no details on the tire walls.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks inside.

Decals sheet is not that big, but there are all necessary symbols for four markings. You can see them all on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New truck should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice even for some solo build, even though I would recommend to add some figures. ICM has some nice sets in the same scale, so it is definitely worth taking a look. Overall quality looks great, so even out of the box build will be easy to assemble and pleasure to look at afterwards.
